1.8 Million Lives Could Be Saved! Discover the Game-Changing Tobacco Harm Reduction Strategy for the Middle East!

The report highlights seven Middle Eastern countries (Pakistan, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and UAE), where tobacco use causes 384,000 premature deaths annually. Despite slight reductions in smoking rates, tobacco-related diseases are set to rise. It emphasizes the potential of Tobacco Harm Reduction (THR) products like vapes and heated tobacco to save lives. By adopting THR, improving cessation services, and advancing lung cancer treatments, over 1.8 million lives could be saved by 2060. Key actions include educating physicians, revising regulations, and involving religious leaders in cessation efforts.
